October Supper Club | Bad Luck BBQ

We are partnering up with long time friend David Mountain AKA Dave The Butcher AKA Bad Luck BBQ AKA Good Luck Events and this one is sure to knock your socks off…From the mouth of the man himself directly to your ears:

“A man walks into a butchershop and asks if he can work for free, it starts as one day a week and then he just keeps showing up. Thus begins the long descent down a rabbit hole that spans the better part of a decade and travels to multiple continents in search of knowledge and craft. It culminates in something primitive - an open fire and a piece of unsold meat - and something unusual starts cooking.

Two decades of experience in hospitality comes down to a few basic principles - mother nature’s a better cook, so get out of her way; it’s just food, but it’s not just food; joy is contagious; love is love is love; brisket is objectively better when it’s smoked; you don’t have to pull pork for it to be pulled pork; don’t wash your car or mow your lawn in the dark; always check for toilet paper before sitting down, and most of all, remember that at the end of a life it’s not about what you did for a living it's about what living you did with your life.

Luck isn’t made, nor is it found, it is conjured and you can’t make it alone. Dave the Butcher isn’t one person, one fire, or one dinner. It’s a husband and a wife. A crew of guys and gals and a couple of lawn flamingos. It’s farmers and fresh produce, and the hands that pick them. It’s a cadre of people behind the scenes - people who drive, people who chop, people who feed and nurture everything that gets to you through us. Dave the Butcher isn’t a place, a person, or a thing. It’s a state of mind.

And so, with that in mind, we're bringing you a dinner this October. It's a little of this and a little of that - bone marrow, seared mushrooms, house-made prosciutto, line caught fish; it's all fair game. It'll be cooked with fire, or not at all. It'll feature fermented, foraged, and found foods. It'll be delicious. Vegetarians welcome, but please, denote so when you purchase your ticket. You're going to have to trust here, you're going to have to leap. This is an exercise in faith. The menu will be announced day-off. Allergies will be accomodated. Thanks for believing.”

SOLD OUT - August Supper Club by A'Notte | Pony Show

Summer has had her way with us this year and we are ready to hang outside and give her a final cheers. We have teamed up with The Pony Show for this August Supper Club and they have knocked it out of the park. We’re gunna beat the heat with some Bo Ssam treats. We got oysters from Island Creek Oysters and some amazing pork from Lover’s Leap Farm. This will be another unforgettable night with all your favorite friends!

Arrive around 6 pm, for some welcome drinks and small bites and then we can all gather around the table for a three course family style feast. Drinks are included so just bring yourselves and your appetites! Cash tips for our crew are gladly accepted the night of the event.

Due to the nature of family style service there can be no substitutions or special requests. (Sorry not even for my favorite Auntie La La)

You asked for it so we’re giving it to ya…This one is going to be an all vegetarian menu, utilizing everything Nimble Roots has been growing all season. We are so excited to have the opportunity to work with Christine and Fabio for all our veggie needs. Steve Gonzales will be cooking up a storm for this one and we have some surprises incoming for the beverages. As always you know you can expect an amazing evening with incredible humans and all the best bites!

We are doing TWO dinners back to back to try and accommodate more of our favorite people so please make sure you have selected the correct date.

For June’s Supper Club we will be utilizing a whole lamb from Limekiln farms. There will be no meat-free options so if you are a vegetarian this is not the dinner for you.

We will gather at The Grange at 6 for some sips and small bites before being seated around 7pm for a 3 course family style feast. Katlyn from Shipwrecked will be pairing the wines for this one so get excited! Produce will be coming from Climax coop and Bulich Farms, and a few foraged surprises as well.
